Accessing the Editor:

  • When you visit a webpage that has integrated Text Editor, you'll typically see a text area that looks like a mini word processor. This is the Text Editor.
Basic Text Editing:

  • Typing: Simply click inside the editor area and start typing.
  • Copy/Paste: Use Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste (or Cmd+C and Cmd+V on Mac).
  • Undo/Redo: Use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y to redo (or Cmd+Z and Cmd+Shift+Z on Mac).
Formatting Text:

  • Bold, Italic, Underline: Use the respective buttons on the toolbar or use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for italic, and Ctrl+U for underline).
  • Font Size & Font Family: Use the dropdown menus on the toolbar to change the font size and family.
  • Text Color: Click on the text color button on the toolbar to choose a color for your text.
  • Highlight: Click on the highlight button to change the background color of the text.
Inserting Media & Links:

  • Inserting Images: Click on the image icon and you'll be prompted to provide the image URL or upload an image.
  • Inserting Links: Highlight the text you want to link, click on the link icon, and provide the URL.
  • Inserting Videos: Click on the video icon and provide the video URL or embed code.
Advanced Features:

  • Tables: Use the table icon to insert tables. You can specify rows, columns, and other table properties.
Code View:

Be cautious when editing the source code, as it might affect the responsiveness of your webshop. Ensure you thoroughly test the changes on various devices before finalizing. Keep in mind, any adverse effects due to source code modifications fall under your responsibility, as we cannot oversee the changes made.

If you're familiar with HTML, you can switch to the code view to edit the raw HTML.

Saving & Exiting:
  • There is a "Save" button to save your changes.

Text Editor is designed to be accessible. You can navigate through the editor using keyboard shortcuts.

TIP

  • Hover over any button on the toolbar to see a tooltip describing its function.
  • If you're unsure about a feature, experiment with it in the editor. You can always undo any changes.
  • Remember to save your work frequently. The application doesn't auto-save.
