By customizing your homepage settings, you can create an experience that both engages visitors and reflects your brand identity. This article guides you through the customization process for various modules on your homepage.
To begin customizing your homepage, you need to navigate to Settings > Visual settings > Homepage
on your TronShop
's portal. Here, you'll find a host of options to choose from.

General Settings
First, let's take a look at the settings in the first General
part. In this part, you can set up banners on your TronShop
homepage, as well as enquiry form box.
Top Banner settings
The top banner serves as the storefront window for your webshop. As such, it needs to be engaging and consistent with your brand's theme. You can achieve this through customization.
- Sliders Count: This allows you to decide how many images or messages you want to display on the top banner at once. This can range from a single static image to a sequence of multiple sliders.
- Slider Delay: Control the transition delay between sliders. This is crucial as it ensures your customers have ample time to absorb each slide's content.
- Max Count Banners: Define the maximum number of banners that can be displayed in the slider sequence. This helps you manage the visual load on your homepage
- Show dots at the bottom: The number of banners will be displayed as dots below the banners.
Below is an example of top slider with one sliders count and four max count banners with dots at the bottom:
Matrix Banner settings
Below the top banner, you have an option to include a matrix banner – a collection of 3x2 banners. These provide additional visual cues and information about your webshop.
- Max Banners: Control how many banners are displayed in this space. This enables you to emphasize specific products or categories without overwhelming your customers.

Enquiry Form Box
A significant part of customer interaction and engagement, the enquiry form box, can be customized and displayed on your homepage. This module creates a channel for customers to share their queries, requests, or feedback.

You can use not only default layout, but customize it using external scripts. You can find more information about it in section Self-Customization of CSS/JS.

Favorite Categories
The effective setup and customization of Favorite Categories can significantly enhance the user experience on your webshop homepage, guiding customers towards their desired products with ease and visual appeal. The Favorite Categories feature provides a dedicated space on your homepage to spotlight select product categories. You may choose to highlight best-sellers, seasonal items, or any other categories you wish to promote.
Initially, you get to decide the visual format for displaying these categories and this choice depends on your unique strategy and the aesthetic design of your webshop:
- Clickable buttons: Favourite category card will contain name and image
- Square cards: Category card will also contain list of subcategories
- Hidden: Favourite categories will be hidden
Also, if you want to customize favourite categories by your own you may use options to further refine how your favorite categories are presented. Please note, that changes in these options will affect settings of initial format settings.
In favourite categories customization you will find several settings:
- Show Name: Enabling this option will display the name of each category. This assists customers in quickly identifying and navigating to their desired category.
- Subcategory Count: This option allows you to indicate the number of subcategories nestled within each primary category. By doing so, customers gain insight into the breadth of variety available in each category.
- Show Image: Activate this to include a representative image for each category. This enhances the visual appeal of your categories.
- Show Subcategory: Use this feature to display the subcategories under each primary category. This provides customers with a comprehensive view of your product range in each category.

Selecting categories to display
You can choose which categories to show in the corresponding collection. Go toMarketing > Collections
on your TronShop
's portal. Initially, each store has a collection with categories for homepage, its name is basically "Homepage Favourite Categories".
Just click on the pencil icon on the right side of the collection and add/remove categories you want. More informations about how collections work you can find in Product & Category Collections article.
Customize your favourite categories
Their design could be changed as well as design of any element. You can use not only default layout, but customize them using External Scripts in your TronShop
's portal. Ask your IT manager to change it. Read more about it in the Self-Customization of CSS/JS section. Below is an example of customized favourite categories:

Favorite Products
The Favorite Products module gives you the opportunity to feature specific products on your homepage. These could be your top-selling items, new arrivals, or products you want to promote for any reason.
Initially, you get to decide the visual format for displaying these products and this choice depends on your unique strategy and the aesthetic design of your webshop:
- Show all: All products from the collection will be shown one below the other
- Show in scroll: Products will be displayed in scroll
- Hidden: Favourite products will be hidden
Also, if you want to customize bestseller products by your own you may use options to further refine how your bestseller products are presented. Please note, that changes in these options will affect settings of initial format settings.
In bestseller products customization you will find several options to tailor how your products are showcased:
- Show Name: By enabling this feature, the name of each product will be displayed. This helps customers recognize and select products of their interest quickly.
- Products Count: This feature allows you to show the available quantity for each product. Displaying this information can create a sense of urgency for customers to purchase before stock runs out.
- Show Image: Activate this option to display an image of each product. Product images can greatly enhance the shopping experience, providing a visual understanding of what you're offering.
- Price: This feature allows you to show the price of the products. Pricing information aids customers in their purchasing decisions.

Selecting products to display
You can choose products to show in the corresponding collection. Go toMarketing > Collections
on your TronShop
's portal. Initially, each store has a collection with products for homepage, its name is basically "Homepage Bestseller Products".
Just click on the pencil icon on the right side of the collection and add/remove products you want. More informations about how collections work you can find in Product & Category Collections article.
Homepage custom parts
The other components you can customize are homepage bottom and upper parts. In fact, these part are fully customizable and support html editation. Other words you can customize them by your own.
To change content of both parts navigate to the top of the window and choose "Articles". By following this pathway, you'll arrive at the segment within the content management system that can be extensively modified to alter these sections as needed.
Adding content
In the new opened window, you can choose for which part of the homepage you want to change the content (bottom part or upper part), as well as language variants. Please make sure that content for all options is done, otherwise the content may simply be missing.
We are using TinyMCE rich-text editor, that allows users to create formatted content within a user-friendly interface.
Initially every store has setted up "Why Work With Us?" and "Our Clients" sections in homepage bottom part. They serve as platforms for you to express your value proposition and showcase your satisfied customers, thus building trust with prospective clients. You can use this solution if you are having trouble writing new content and below we guide you through the steps to modify these sections.
After accessing the editor, you have two options depending on the type of changes you want to implement:
Option 1. Modifying text and logos while retaining formatting
If your changes only involve updating the text and logos, while maintaining the current formatting:
1. Make the desired changes in the editor.
2. Click on 'Save' to apply the changes.
Option 2. Modifying formatting or adding custom content
If you intend to modify the text, logos, and formatting, or if you want to add custom content, and you are comfortable with HTML:
1. Click on View > Source Code
in the editor.
2. Modify the HTML code as per your needs.
3. Click on 'Save' to apply the changes.
PLEASE TAKE ATTENTION
Be cautious when editing the source code, as it might affect the responsiveness of your webshop. Ensure you thoroughly test the changes on various devices before finalizing. Keep in mind, any adverse effects due to source code modifications fall under your responsibility, as we cannot oversee the changes made.
More collections on the homepage
Nothing is impossible! If you want to add more collections with products or show your customers other collections with categories, simply contact us for more information. By default, each TronShop
has only two components with collections on the main page - for categories and products, however our development team can customize your homepage and add as many collections as you need.
