The Dual Currency Display feature allows your webshop to show prices in two currencies at the same time across the entire shop. This is useful in markets where dual currency display is legally required or where showing a secondary currency improves customer clarity.
IMPORTANT NOTE
To enable this feature at least two curencies should be available in your shop licence
How to enable:
Go to: Settings → Environment → Shop Mode
Scroll to the section Dual Currency Display
Enable "Enable dual currency display"
Select the Secondary Currency
Click Save
Note: Only currencies already configured in your environment will be available in the dropdown.
Currency Conversion Logic
The secondary currency value is calculated using exchange rates configured in:
Admin Portal → Settings → Environment → Currencies
As long as the exchange rates are updated, the displayed secondary amount will reflect the current settings.
The feature also follows the existing decimal and rounding rules defined per currency.

⚠️Important Limitations
When Dual Currency Display is enabled:
the currency switcher is removed from the webshop
all other currencies are disabled automatically
customers cannot manually switch currencies
print jobs are calculated only in Primary currency
Only the selected Primary + Secondary pair will be shown.
Where Dual Currency Prices Appear
Dual Currency Display applies globally across the webshop, including:
Product listings & product cards
Product detail page (variants, tier pricing, minimal purchase limit)
Discounted and crossed-out prices
Product PDF sheets
Shopping cart (items, subtotal, shipping, discounts, total)
Checkout (all steps and summary)
Order confirmation page
Order emails and PDF attachments

FAQ
Will this change what currency my customers pay in?
No. Customers still complete their purchase and payment in the primary currency. Dual Currency Display only affects how prices are visually presented on the webshop.
Can I show three or more currencies?
No. The feature supports exactly two currencies: primary currency and secondary currency. Additional currencies are not supported.
Will the currency conversion rates update automatically?
Yes. The secondary price is calculated using the exchange rates configured in Admin Portal → Settings → Environment → Currencies. As long as those exchange rates are kept up to date, the displayed secondary amounts will reflect the current configuration.
What happens to my existing orders?
Existing order data is not modified. When Dual Currency Display is enabled, order history pages will visually show prices in both currencies. However, the original order records and payment amounts remain unchanged.
Can I turn this feature off later?
Yes. Go to Settings → Environment → Shop Mode, uncheck "Enable dual currency display", and click Save. The webshop will return to single-currency mode and the currency switcher will be restored.
Can I use different colors or smaller text for the secondary currency?
No. To ensure legal compliance and a clean user interface, both currencies use the same font, size, and color settings. Only the total in the shopping cart visually emphasizes the primary currency.
What happens to decimal places?
The system uses the existing decimal and rounding settings configured individually for each currency in the Admin Portal.
