Shipping methods

Shipping methods are very important for customers buying goods online.

Configuring these shipping methods is very easy in TronShop and can be done in just a few clicks.

Go to Settings > Shopping > Shipping & Payments section and use the tabs at the top to switch to the Deliveries subsection. You can add new shipping methods using the “+” button.

To add a new shipping method, you will be asked to fill in the following basic information:

• Name - Name of the shipping method
• VAT - VAT rate for the method

Once the shipping method is created, you need to finish its configuration. Press the Edit button to complete the settings.

There are optional and mandatory settings:

Mandatory:

• Prices - Here you can set the price for using the method.

  PLEASE PAY ATTENTION

  The price for a specific shipping method must always be defined — even if the method is intended to be "FREE", a value of zero must be entered. Without this setting, the shipping method will not be available in your TronShop!
   

  

• Payments - Associated payment methods. This connection can be set in both shipping and payment methods. Remember that customers will select shipping methods first. If no payment method is assigned to a shipping method, customers will not be able to complete their order, because there will be no payment method to choose from.

Optional:

• Delivery method description - You can set a description for the method in all languages available in your TronShop. This will be visible during shipping method selection by the customer.
• Regions - You can choose one or more of the created Delivery Regions. If you do so, this shipping method will be available to choose only when the customer has chosen an associated delivery region. Delivery regions are selected before shipping and payment.
• Select Icon - You can choose an icon for the payment method that will be displayed during payment selection in TronShop. Icons are selected from files saved in Files and Images.
