Shopping Rules on TronShop
By establishing these aspects, you can deliver an enhanced shopping experience to your customers while maintaining operational efficiency. Here, we will guide you through setting up shopping rules and limits on TronShop.
Navigate to Settings > Shopping > Shopping Rules
.
On TronShop, you can easily establish shopping rules and limits for your customers. The two crucial limit settings you can activate for your cart include:
Minimum Order Value
When you click on 'Customization' for this rule, you will be able to specify a minimum order value in the primary currency of your shop. For instance, if
You don't want customers to order for less than 50 EUR, you can set this amount as your minimum order value.
Automated Charge for Orders Not Meeting the Minimum Value
To prevent small, unprofitable orders, TronShop lets you set an automated charge for orders that don't meet the minimum value. Again, by clicking on 'Customization', you can define the minimum amount of products and a fee value. For example,
If a customer orders fewer than 25 pieces of any product, an extra fee of 50 EUR can be levied.
Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) in TronShop
In addition to setting minimum order values and charges for smaller orders, TronShop allows you to establish a minimum product purchase quantity, often referred to as the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ). This rule can be applied to every product in your catalogue. Once you enter the MOQ value, remember to scroll down and click on the 'SAVE' button.
Alternatively, you can set different MOQs for each product. To do this, navigate to Products > Product Catalog > NAME OF PRODUCT YOU WANT TO EDIT
.
Then, go to the 'Parameters' tab, find the text 'Minimum Order Quantity', click on this text and enter the desired MOQ. Once you're done, click on 'SAVE CHANGES'.

Order Numbering
A well-structured order numbering system can make your life significantly easier when managing and tracking orders.
1. Numbering Pattern
Your order numbers should follow a specific pattern. The pattern could be as simple as a series of numbers, or more complex involving characters, slashes, or dashes. The limit is at least 6 characters and no more than 14 characters.
2. Serial Numbering by Year Sequence
A sequential numbering system can help track your orders chronologically. This system can be particularly beneficial for year-end audits or when determining yearly sales.
For instance, using a pattern like UK/{YYYY}/{XXXXXX}, your generated numbers would look something like UK/2023/000150, UK/2023/000151, UK/2023/000152.
3. Random Generated Numbering
Randomly generated order numbers add an additional layer of security, making it difficult for anyone to predict your sales volume or order frequency.
The same pattern can generate randomly sequenced numbers like UK/2023/467532, UK/2023/334973, UK/2023/497621.
Enquiries Numbering
Similar to order numbering, having a systematic approach to tracking customer inquiries can significantly enhance your customer service efficiency.
1. Numbering Pattern
Just like order numbering, you should follow a pattern for enquiry numbering, with the same character limits and restrictions.
2. Serial Numbering by Year Sequence
Serial numbers for enquiries can be beneficial for tracking customer interactions over time. For example, UK/2023/000150, UK/2023/000151, UK/2023/000152.
3. Random Generated Numbering
Randomly generated numbers for enquiries add a layer of security and randomness to your tracking system, with numbers like UK/2023/467532, UK/2023/334973, UK/2023/497621.
