The "Order sample" function

The "order sample" function can be configured in Settings >Visual Settings > Product detail. 
When you are in the product detail, scroll down and you will see the section Order samples:


Point 1) Now you can choose one of the three modes:

a) Disabled = the button "Order sample" will not appear 
b) Available for every product = the button "Order sample" will appear in every product detail - but in this case, you have to inform the customers about the costs for sample ordering, as only some suppliers offer free samples
c) Only products with the indication FREE SAMPLE = the button "Order sample" will appear only in the product detail of those products, which have the indication "free sample" in the datafeed provided by the supplier

If a customer clicks on the button "Order sample", you will receive a new inquiry  - see administration, section Inquiries and also an e-mail notification about the new inquiry (in case you have set the e-mail notifications correctly. If you are not sure, see Here). 

2) You can use the field Additional Text information to add any text which will show in the form for sample ordering. You can also use HTML markup.

3) Placeholder Text for Message Field - here you can enter the text of the order message, e.g. "Hello, I would like to order a sample of the product {ProductName} with the SKU {ProductCode}, which I found on the website {ProductURL}. Thank you"
