Translations to the different parts of the shop

May happen that you need to change a text in your TronShop frontend. You can do it in your shop administration, it is really simple.

Custom translations - how to change (some) texts in your TronShop

So how to change the text in your TronShop? Just go to Settings > Environment > Custom Translations.

Select the language in which you wish to modify the text (1). Then, enter a portion of the text into the search box (2)...

Example: Changing text in the "inquiry box":

To locate the "Inquiry", navigate to: Shared > Components > InquiryBox > Default > choose the text

OR

Search for the word "Inquiry". All the entries which contain the word inquiry will be listed...

... suppose I wanted to find the "Inquiry description" text...

Clicking the green button with the pencil icon allows you to modify the text in the language you searched for, in this case, English (1).

The blue button lets you edit the text across all the languages available in your shop in one go (2).

Simply input the text you want and hit save. That's it!

How to change the text of the "cookie bar"

Navigate to Settings > Environment > Custom Translations. In the search field, type "coo" or "cookie" and then modify the text as needed.

For shops with only one language, click the green pencil icon to edit the translation.

For multi-language shops, click the blue translations icon and provide translations for each of your languages.

How to edit the article TronCalculator instructions

If you wish to modify the text beneath the "Add to cart" button or introduce a new language version of this text...

Navigate to Content > Articles. Locate the article titled "Shopping process - Calculator instructions" and click on the pencil icon adjacent to its name.

or editing the existing text of the Calculator instructions:

• Click on the pencil icon corresponding to the language variant you intend to modify.

If you're looking to add a new language version:

• Scroll down within the article to the section titled "Adding a new language variant."

To maintain the current formatting: click on View > Source code...

Modify the text as needed. Ensure you only alter the text and avoid changing the HTML tags to prevent disrupting the formatting. Once done, click "Save."

Lastly, press the green SAVE button located at the bottom of the page.

You should then see a green notification in the top right corner stating "Success. Successfully updated." All set! Now, visit your shop and launch the TronCalculator to view the changes in action.

Adding a new language variant

To introduce a new language variant, follow these steps:

1. Click on the "+" button.

• Input the article's name and select the desired language.
• You have two options to enter the text:
  • Directly type into the text field (1).
  • Or, for more advanced formatting, click on View > Source code (2).
• Once you've entered the text, press the SAVE button located at the bottom of the page.
