TronManager allows you to define your sale margin or markup individually for each supplier, separately for products and printing, as well as the purchase price source.
*The pricing configuration uses the same supplier price lists and the same country-specific availability rules as TronShop. However, sale price configuration in TronManager is simplified: instead of creating detailed price policies, you set a sale margin or markup directly for the supplier.
The configured prices are used throughout TronManager in the product catalog and when creating offers.

How to set margin or markup for a supplier
Go to:
Settings → Suppliers
Click Price Policy and select the supplier* you want to configure.
*Only suppliers available for TronManager can be selected for pricing configuration. The supplier selection window also shows availability for other PromoTron services.
Settings for Products
Under Product Purchase Settings, select which price list* should be used as the source of purchase prices
Depending on the supplier and the available data, you can choose from:
- Purchase Prices for Distributors – use purchase prices provided directly by the supplier
- Catalog Prices – select the appropriate supplier price list and enter your discount from that price list.
- Individual purchase prices – use your own individual purchase price feed, if available.
*Supplier price lists follow the same availability and country restrictions as in TronShop.
After selecting the purchase price source, define your Sale margin or Sale markup.
TronManager automatically converts one value into the other. For example, 20% margin = 25% markup.
Margin vs. markup
Sale margin expresses the profit as a percentage of the final selling price:
Margin = (Sale price − Purchase price) / Sale price × 100
Sale markup expresses the profit as a percentage of the purchase price:
Markup = (Sale price − Purchase price) / Purchase price × 100
You only need to enter one of these values. TronManager calculates the corresponding value automatically.
Settings for Printing
Under Printing Purchase Settings, choose a price list that will be the price source for printing in the same way as for products:
Then enter the required Sale margin or Sale markup for printing.
How the price calculation works
The sale price in TronManager is based on three elements:
Purchase price source → Purchase price → Sale margin or markup → Sale price
For example, if you use a supplier catalog price, TronManager first applies your supplier discount to determine the purchase price.
Your configured margin or markup is then applied to that purchase price to calculate the sale price.
This means that you normally do not enter the final sale price manually. Instead, you define:
- Which purchase price TronManager should use
- Your supplier discount, if applicable
- Margin or markup you want to apply
Where configured prices are used
The supplier pricing settings affect two main areas of TronManager:
Product catalog
The calculated prices are used for displayed product prices as well as price-based filtering and sorting.
Offers
The prices are used when calculating offers created directly in TronManager and when an offer is calculated through TronCalculator.
Price preferences (in case you have TronShop)
If you use both TronShop and TronManager, a price may be available from TronShop and from the supplier pricing configured directly in TronManager.
The Prefer TronShop prices option determines which source takes priority in such cases.
When Prefer TronShop prices is enabled, TronManager prefers prices received from TronShop when both price sources are available.
When it is disabled, the supplier pricing configured directly in TronManager is used instead.
You can find this setting under Settings → Suppliers → Pricing preferences.
