This guide will walk you through the steps required to set up your Tron Manager on your own domain.
Please note that this feature is available exclusively for BUSINESS-level license holders.
Step 1: Updating DNS Settings
To replace the default PromoTron domain (yourname.promoquote.eu) with your custom domain, you will need to configure your domain's DNS records. This step must be completed on your end, as we do not have access to manage or modify our clients' domains.
If you encounter any difficulties during the DNS configuration process, we recommend consulting your IT team, as technical expertise is required. Alternatively, you can contact our support team to schedule an online session for assistance.
DNS Configuration Guidelines:
-
We recommend using a subdomain of your main domain for your Tron Manager setup (e.g., tron.yourdomain.com). However, you may also configure it to your main domain if preferred.
-
The only DNS parameter that needs to be added or modified is the CNAME record, which should be set to:
portal.tronmanager.com
Step 2: Verifying DNS Settings
Once the DNS changes have been applied, we recommend using www.dnschecker.org to verify the updates.
To check your configuration:
-
Enter the domain/subdomain for which you made the changes.
-
Ensure that the CNAME record is correctly set to
portal.tronmanager.com
.
Step 3: Informing Support
After verifying your DNS settings, please notify our support team by creating a support ticket or sending an email to support@promotron.com. Be sure to include the following details in your request:
-
The custom (sub)domain you wish to use for your Tron Manager.
Step 4: Awaiting Confirmation
Once we receive your request and verify the DNS configuration, our support team will submit a request to our Development team to finalize the changes.
Please note the following:
-
If the DNS settings have been configured correctly, the process will proceed smoothly.
-
Depending on the current workload, the update may take up to 5 business days to complete.
-
You will receive a confirmation once the setup is finalized.
PLEASE TAKE ATTENTION
If you are using CLOUDFLARE for your DNS management and using a CNAME record, make sure the
"Proxy status" is NOT "proxied":
