Price policies troubleshooting

Occasionally, pricing discrepancies can occur, leading to confusion. This may be due to data issues, supplier pricing, or other factors.

Basic steps

To identify these issues, follow these steps:

1. Verify the accuracy of a product's price to ensure the purchase is correct.

To perform this check, navigate to Products > Product Catalog and select any product of your choice.

2. Once you've selected a product, proceed to the "Price" category. If there are multiple color options, choose any of them (if applicable).

3. Examine the "Purchase price" for a single unit.

Furthermore, for a comprehensive overview, you can access detailed information by clicking on "How were the prices calculated?"

A new popup will appear, providing extensive insights into the procurement and sale of the product.

Within this popup, you will find the some details. We will only take a look on some of them:

• Source price: This represents the price of the product as provided by the supplier.

• Purchase price: This figure reflects any currency conversion if your shop's primary currency differs from the price list currency. The system will automatically calculate this difference.

• Currency conversion: When your shop's primary currency doesn't match the currency of the price list, this section showcases the converted price in your shop's primary currency.

• Selected Price Policies for this product: Here, you'll see the sale price policy that is applied to the product. If no policy is selected, sale prices cannot be computed. This provides clarity on how the sale price is determined for the product.
