SEO Guide - Basic configuration

This guide outlines essential techniques to optimize various facets of your TronShop for SEO, empowering you to refine page content, titles, descriptions, and more. Whether you're adjusting SEO data for pages, refining product information, or enhancing category names, these steps are designed to elevate your store's online presence and attract your target audience.

SEO Options

Regarding SEO optimization, you can modify various aspects of your TronShop:

Adjusting SEO Data for Pages:
You can easily update the SEO data for each page on your TronShop.

• • Navigate to the Content > Pages.

  • Locate the specific page you wish to edit

  • Click on the ellipsis (...) or pencil located on the right side of its name.

  • Proceed to the "Settings" tab, where you can input the relevant SEO information. Once you've made your adjustments, remember to click the "SAVE" button located at the bottom of the page.

Modifying Category Names and SEO Data:
To change category names and associated SEO data, navigate to Product > Categories

• • Locate the Category or Subcategory you want to change

  • Click on the ellipsis (...), and from the dropdown menu pick "Edit"

By utilizing these resources, you'll be able to optimize the SEO performance of your TronShop effectively.

SEO Settings from Tronshop Admin:

In the "Settings" Tab of your page or category, you have several fields to fill, those can help you to improve your SEO performance

• • Page Name
    • The title tag should contain between 20 and 70 characters (including spaces). 
    • Make sure the title tag contains the most important keywords
    • Use "trigger words"
    • For example, ultimate, best, new, proven, how, why
    • Make sure each page throughout the site has a unique headline.
    • Use numerals (e.g. 4, instead of four)
    • If possible, also include your brand name

• • Title
    Each page should contain just one main heading <h1>. In case you leave it empty Page name will be used
    • The text in the heading should correspond with the page title and should contain the main and secondary keywords.
    • The length should not exceed 70 characters. 

• • Description (Meta description)
    • The page description should be between 70 and 160 characters long (including spaces). 
    • Use Meta descriptions to influence how the page is displayed in search results. 
    • Make sure that every page on your site contains a unique description. 
    • The text in the page description should be consistent with the content of the page.
    • This description should include the most important keywords (which then appears as bold in search results). 
    • A good description acts as an advertisement and should therefore contain a clear message to maximize the number of clicks to your website. 

• • Page Description
    • A website should contain enough text to be successful. 
    • Remember that excessive keyword insertion can be suspicious to search engines and the site may be penalized. 
    • Text on the page should be placed in paragraphs (i.e. <p>). Avoid inserting into other containers that are not primarily intended for content (such as <div>). Our text editor respects this rule.

• • Images
    In the tab Images, you can add an image that will be displayed next to your category in menus or a Top/bottom banner that will be displayed on your page
    
    
    • You can always find the recommended size of the image next to the frame. In case your image does not correspond to this size to display the image properly we recommend keeping the rotation of the sides 
    • Use next-generation formats: Image formats like WebP and AVIF often offer better compression than PNG or JPEG, which means faster downloads and less data usage.

Couple more things to check:

• Verifying the correct domain settings
  • Make sure the site loads when you enter the URL in "www" and "non-www" form. 
    • You can verify this by manually entering the URL "your-domain.cz" and then manually entering the URL "www.your-domain.cz". 
    • If everything works correctly, the page should always load fine. 
  • Check that redirection to a secure URL is set. 
    • You can verify this by manually entering the URL "http://your-domain.cz". 
    • If everything works correctly, the address should automatically redirect to "https://your-domain.cz". 
      
      
• Recommended settings for "External scripts"
  • For each external script you add, consider adding an "async" or "defer" parameter. 
    • Otherwise, the page performance may be degraded. 
    • This can result in longer loading times.

  • Any linked (i.e. directly inserted) CSS and JS code must always be 100% valid. 
    • Otherwise, the performance of the site may be significantly reduced and, in the worst case, the entire site may be disabled.
