In the intricate landscape of product presentation, the way product codes are showcased holds significant weight. These codes, often comprising numbers or alphanumeric combinations, sit below the product name, offering a quick identification reference.

To Start

The display of these codes is more flexible than you might imagine. Here's a breakdown of your options:

In the section Settings > Environment > Shop Mode find Product code priority you can choose whether you display:

Always PromoTron codes

These special codes, universally starting with "PP" (e.g., PP10014), offer a consistent identifier for PromoTron products. This ensures a recognizable and standardized presentation across your store.

Own codes, then PromoTron codes

Here, you're granted the freedom to display your "Own" codes prominently. If an "Own" code is unavailable, the system seamlessly shifts to a PromoTron code. This combination allows you to emphasize your unique branding while having a backup identification system.

Own codes, then Suppliesr's codes

In this option, your shop displays "Own" codes. Should no "Own" code exist, the system graciously transitions to a supplier's code. This accommodates the collaborative relationship between your brand and suppliers.

Add your own code manually

Either manually in section Products > Product catalog, tab Parameters  - now scroll down to IDs and choose Own Product code, click on the text Own Product code and then on the blue button ADD NEW on the right side of the screen.

To begin your data import journey, first, you need to navigate to the Products > Product Catalog

The export process is just as important as importing, as it empowers you with insights and data for informed decision-making. To export your data, follow these simple steps:

1. Choose the Right Option: Click on "Import own codes from Excel" which is your gateway to effortlessly integrating your data.

2. Supplier Collaboration: Choose the supplier from whom you wish to export data, strengthening collaboration and ensuring your records remain synchronized.

3. Select Export Information: Opt for the specific information you want to include in the export. This tailored approach ensures you're receiving the insights most relevant to your business needs.

With these selections made, your Excel file, packed with pertinent data, will be ready for download. This empowers you with a comprehensive snapshot of your product catalog, which can be pivotal in strategic planning and assessing your business performance.
